Started early this Friday. Yep, more amendments have been made to the timetable again this week. Had BKA (Bahasa Kebangsaan) first thing
in the morning at 9am . We've got a new lecturer for BKA - Puan Siti Fatimah. She's a really sweet lady. Unfortunately I can't hear or understand half the things she says. She's the most soft spoken lecturer I've ever come across!
After BKA had a 1 hour break. The Society of Performing Arts (SPA) organized a charity drive to raise money
for a local government orphanage - where 91 kids are stuffed into one apparently very small cramped terrace house. They had things like henna tattoos, food, song dedications and such.
They also had this thing called 'Win a date' - this is where a guy/girl is auctioned for a date - the highest bidder wins (money goes to the orphanage)and gets to take this girl/guy for a non alcoholic drink at the nearby mamak.
A few days
prior to this, Zai and I were strongly encouraged to join this 'speed dating' by one of our lecturer's. Haha. The both of us finally gave in and accepted - and we were doing it just for fun - even though the both of us are taken. Heheh. Zai worked up the guts to go before me *phew* it was a very nerve wrecking experience! HAHA!! Aaah! Zai didn't really have a problem because her dear boyfriend - Farhan - was there to place the highest bid and win her off. Her bid started at RM10 and escalated to RM50 if I'm not mistaken.
I on the other hand, made sure I had a back up! - just incase no one decides to buy me. Hahaha! My back up crew - Ben, Jason, Gary and all my friends made sure I was sold for suitable charitable amount. Actually, truthfully - just to make sure I was sold to somebody! HAHAHHA! I honestly
felt, all the guys that I picked as my 'back ups' wouldn't have really bid for me. (Sorry k guys! i never thought any of you took it seriously! just thought that you all "say" only).
However I was wrong. I was so touched when in the end Ben (my number 1 back up)took me off the stands at RM30. HAHAHA. Belanja'd him to a Teh O' Ais Limau after that. Thank You Ben = ) I owe you one! hahah!
Was officially Ben's date for the afternoon. Was even more touched when I found out later in the day that he had
stashed up to RM150 and was willing to part with it - fortunately for you Ben, I only went up to RM30. HAHAHA. This has indeed been a very funny experience for me.

Took loadsa pictures today! For some reason I just had to have a bad hair day today and I looked terrible! But the pics are still nice though =). Oh yea, another funny highlight happened earlier this morning. Scared the shits out of Farhan and Zai when I started knocking on their car window hysterically. HAHAHA. I'll never forget the look on their faces! Submitted my IMC assignment today. Mid Term Break starts today. Mid Sem Exams start on the 16th. Errr. Need to do a lot of studying! Orphy's missing. She just disappeared. She's been missing since yesterday. Wonder where she went. Had a call from a very old school friend - was good to hear from you Pie =)
