So much has been happening since I last updated in September. Shortly after Hip Hopera was the Mass Comm Annual Dinner & Dance.
I was quite disappointed but being with my friends and having a good time with them made up for the disappointment. The food was Okay, the venue was… well the ballroom was extremely cramped for all of us and well… it wasn’t really all that Glitz & Glamour (which was the theme for the dinner). Anyways… I was terribly upset with the seating arrangement. Zai, Farhan and I were separated from the usual gang and we were seated far at the back (at the losers table as they call it in the movie White Chicks). Oh well. But anyways… I just felt that it could have been better. My prom night and graduation dinner back in school was far much better then our Dinner & Dance. Not to worry I suppose. There’s always next year.
The next highlight after the Dinner & Dance was the exams. Went well. I felt that I could have done better for one of the subjects but I’m happy with my results.
Oh yea and before the exams I was asked to do a commercial for a erm… Sanitary Pad. Haha!
Hair, Make Up & Wardrobe at 6:30am
Was waiting for my mum to pick me up after dance class one day. Fortunately on that day she picked me up late. So while waiting in the studio these two guys from a production house came looking for girls to dance for a Kotex commercial. I seriously didn’t think that I’d land a spot in the commercial but I tried out anyways and auditioned for it.

Next thing I knew my classmate and I were chosen and we were gonna appear and be the next faces of one of the leading brands of sanitary pads. Haha! The ad required us to dance in it so that made it more fun to do. We went for dance classes at The Dance Space in Hartamas to learn a short routine for the commercial. It was fun!! I loved the style and the different environment. It was fantastic being in a new place and learning something new. I made lots of new friends when I did this ad.

The rest of the girls in it are so amazing in so many different ways. Even though I knew them for just a few days we clicked and enjoyed each other’s company. I really miss working with them!

The ad took a day to shoot. It was my second TV commercial and definitely far much better then the previous one I did.

The director, Sean Chan, was very friendly and easy to work with. He reminded me of what Matthew would look like in his 30’s. Haha!
I had a lot of fun doing that ad. I’m so glad Edwin and Mun Shen turned up at Dancesteps that night and I’m so glad my mum picked me up late! Hehe.
Then of course came Puasa! Lost 3 kg’s this Ramadhan, but so far I haven’t had any problems putting them all back on with all the yummy and delicious Raya food I’ve been having heheh. My Raya was great this year although I was a little upset cuz this is my first Raya without my grandfather who passed away earlier this year. Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim friends. I spent most of my holidays during Puasa =). Went back to college last Wednesday. It feels good to be back and see everybody. As usual – Taylor’s was very disorganized on it’s first day. Let’s not go there.
Anwar Ibrahim (my neighbor. Yes the ex politician) had a massive Hari Raya open house yesterday and I think folks from all four corners of Malaysia attended this joyous occasion. It was packed outside and despite the rain people still kept coming. I wanted to go but as usual I just chose not to go.
Will be moving out of Bukit Damansara next week and I’ve been so upset. Will be moving to Bandar Utama.
America's Next Top Model is on tonight! Ah can't miss it! I have been following season 2 religiously. It's so Awesome! Haha!
