What does it feel like to be 19?? Well my first day was real Shit. Why? The consequences of procrastinating on assignments finally caught up with me and crumbled on me like a ton of bricks. It was a group assignment given 3 weeks ago and it was due yesterday. My group and I decided to keep it aside to the last minute (although it was never really intentional – yea right – Ya. Right). The fact that mid sem exams were on and the fact that Matthew’s back probably contributed to the fact that the assignment was well… erm… forgotten about. Heh
Anyways… yes my birthday was on the 28th of December. I had an awesome birthday! Thank You to all those that sent me warm birthday wishes. Michelle if you’re reading this – Thank you so much for the card and lovely earrings! I love them!
For my birthday the girls suggested that we have a triple date (Matt & I, Lily & Arvin and Zai & Farhan). After college the girls followed me home and we met up with the boys at One Utama to have lunch. My birthday lunch was at this lovely restaurant called ‘just thai’. The food I must say was absolutely delicious. I had a great lunch. The girls, Matt and Farhan surprised me with a birthday cake after we finished eating! Haha! I should have seen it coming! Somehow it just didn’t dawn on me that there would be a cake in the picture. There was already so much happening! – Being showered with lovely presents, meeting our loved ones over lunch… I couldn’t ask for a greater birthday celebration! Actually, this is the first time ever that my friends have gotten me a birthday cake and surprised me. Haha! Usually I’m the one behind the surprises! Guess it all paid off! Well I’m glad it did. Thank you girls for your awesome plans. Thank you Farhan for taking the lunch tab. Thank You everyone who wished me Happy Birthday and Thank You Matthew for making my birthday a memorable one =) I love you all!

Matt & I had a personal celebration together the day before my birthday. He took me to Sunway Pyramid on Monday to have lunch (we had Genki Sushi! Yum!), do a bit of shopping and to watch a movie! We watched The Phantom Of The Opera and it was GOOD! Please go watch it! Trust me! It’s so awesome! Matt & I had a great time =) Hehe he was actually singing the songs from the movie to me! Hehe! (they had the lyrics as subtitles) What a cutie. The first time I watched The Phantom Of The Opera was back in 1998 at this musical theatre in San Francisco and that was when I fell in love with it. The musical scores’ excellent.

Speaking of Christmas, Zai invited me to her Xmas Party and it was fun =)

I had good yummy food, met Zai’s parents and kept her company for Christmas. We had a great time hanging out at her place for once! She’s got a cozy apartment

This is my fave picture of us. We do be the prettiest prettiest girls. We do be that ; )
Zai’s got this huge funny leaf (furniture) that she bought from IKEA hanging over her bed. Haha I was so amused when I saw it. Found it kinda cute and funny

The funny leaf I was talking about.

I’ve been doing some hardcore shopping. Haha! Man. I think I’ve bought me enough clothes to last me till mid 2005. Need to give my bank account a break! Haha! Man… It’s soo hard to resist! Girls… you know what I mean right ; )
Anyways. This concludes my entry for today. Happy New Year Everyone! Let us all pray for the well being of those who have lost their loved ones, their home and belonging’s due to the heart wrenching earthquake and Tsunami waves. Insya’allah (God willing) our prayers can help them through the pain and suffering they are going through.
