shake ya body
The past 2 weeks have been so exciting. I can’t wait to blog about it!
My broadband connection is down at the moment – hence the late entry. Am now left with no choice but to use dial up to come online at home. It’s unbearably slow! Ah! So am now at the Sri Melaka restaurant in One Utama with my Dad having a nice ice cincau and enjoying the wonderful world of the Internet.

Dancesteps 5th Annual Concert was again a successful one. I had such a great (and tiring) time performing this year. Had an unbelievable 6 items up my sleeves. I’ve made a vow to myself that the most I would do is 4. Performing 6 items twice over a period of two shows was indeed a very taxing thing to do – but I had a fantastic time. I can’t wait till my next performance at the end of June! My Dance festival here I come! =)

Made my parents very happy and proud after concert! Was treated to dinner at Bayou and a fun filled day shopping at KLCC the next day =) Haha bought new clothes, new jewelry, new shoes and the works! Haha! Thanx Ma! Thanx Pa! – My Dad has always been very supporting. Amidst his busy schedule on the day of my concert he still made the effort to come see me perform during the second show in the evening. His presence made me escalate to a natural high and i felt sudden bliss. I couldn’t have been any happier. Thanx Papa for believing in me so much. You’re the man of my life! I love you! =*

The senior dancers and teachers at Dancesteps Studio were treated to dinner (Thank You Shirena!) on Tuesday night at Chili’s in Bangsar. It was like a little after party thing. Dinner was great! Had lots of good food and a great time! We all had fun. All of us left Chili’s that night with great memories, big smiles and laughs, stuffed tummies and greasy fingers! (Eew how unbecoming of dancers! Haha!) I’m sure just by looking at the pictures you guys can tell that we had a wonderful time!

My favorite dance partner Emilyn – love you too!

Myself, Ai Hong, Maike & Sarita

Tiara, Zai, Emilyn & I – just after ordering our food

Clara, Ji Lian, Pui Theng, Me, Emilyn, Zai and Tiara – all stuffed!

Me, Tiara & Shirena – man we look so kenyang and sick of food! Hehe *burp*

Me, Keith & Tiara – Keith came so late that night and ended up eating everyone’s left overs! Kesihan! And ofcourse he’s the only established MALE dancer at Dancesteps and the only handsome guy there amongst us that night ; ) HAHA

Tiara & I – love dancing with you girl!

By Wednesday it was back to the usual routine of dance classes and teaching. My Wednesday and Thursday jazz classes seem to be growing by the week! Hehe I’m so happy that it’s popular among the young ones. It’s becoming a little difficult to manage though. I’ve got two small tootsies in my Thursday class. Little Aisha and Ru Xiang. They’re the youngest I have (5 years old I think) and one of the best I have! Haha! Ru Xiang is like a mini version of Zai! Haha I get so amused every time I see her! Such a cute little thing.

My Intermediate Modern exam is coming up soon in October. It’s been making me nervous. Classes are now 3 times a week plus Pointe and Advance Jazz. Oh man…

I’m so glad to be on holiday. College was driving me nuts. Got my exam results back. 1 A, 2B+ and 2B-‘s. OKAY lah… Could have done better.

Ooh mum treated me to a full traditional body massage on Thursday and it was excellent! Felt so rejuvenated after that. My masseuse – Yuli, from Indonesia does wonders! In case you’re wondering the massage parlor is located in Ampang around the same vicinity as Ampang Point and it’s called Puri Ayu. It’s reasonable (full body massage was RM90), clean and the ambiance is excellent. Ladies - I’ve got the number if you want to make an appointment! ; )

So, that’s all that has been happening the past two weeks. I hope to get my broadband back as soon as possible. It’s kinda fun coming out to surf the net too. My cincau glass is empty and bum’s getting numb. Gonna get up and do some shopping!
