It’s been such a wonderful week doing numerous performances and boy I miss it! My school's performance for the 5th Malaysian Dance Festival – ‘Living Heritage’ (Ballet & Jazz Night) at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) was excellent. All of us had a great time performing back to back for two nights. For those of you that came to watch us perform – Thank you so much for your support and taking the time to come watch us.
It was so awesome doing a professional show. This was my first time performing on a professional basis. I miss the lighting and smoky effects and being surrounded by established dancers. Wow – being there and performing truly was a dream come true. The dressing room too was awesome! Was equipped with bright lights and dressers for us to do our make up and a bathroom where we could shower. AND it was fully air-conditioned =) On the first night of our performance Shirena gave us each a white rose with a Thank You letter which was so sweet of her. Thank You Shirena!

Life’s back to normal now that our performances are over. All that's left are sweet memories. I can't wait till the next performance! College is college – I hate it more and more each day. I miss the late night rehearsals, non-stop dancing and being up on stage. I miss it. I do I do I do!
This semester I’m doing 5 subjects – 1 of them is redundant. My lecturer’s are Okay – except for one in particular. She teaches the redundant subject. Don’t you just hate lecturers that are so anal and high school like? After class she’s the sort that says “the person that made the most noise in class please wipe the board” – Oh goodness… It’s been 10 years since I last heard that!
I love Friday’s… It’s my relax day. Hehe =)
It was Matthew’s 20th birthday on Friday (July 1st) – Happy Birthday Mimi! Didn’t do and won’t be doing much for his birthday this year cuz he’s all the way in Australia and won’t be coming back till later in the year. I miss you toots =* Expect something in the mail soon k. I Love you Matthew!
A friend of mine – Astro, is leaving for Adelaide tonight to further his studies in Quantity Surveying - I wish you the best of luck Astro. Study hard and ‘jaga perangai’ k! =)

Dancesteps will start its summer break on the 18th for 2 weeks! *yay* holiday! Haha! Ooh last weekend I watched Batman Begins and Madagascar. I really enjoyed Batman! It’s a pretty good movie. Was a bit long though but Christian Bale’s quite the hottie. Yumm. I think I’ve memorized nearly all the lines from Madagascar. It’s hilarious! “What’s the sin in biting of the butt among friends?” - King Juliun. Haha! Ali G did a great job! Next on my list of movies is Kingdom of Heaven and Herbie Fully Loaded (I think that’s how you spell it)
Will be going back to KLPAC this weekend for a traditional dance workshop by Abang Aris. Abang Aris was my dance teacher when I was at the National Arts Academy. I’m looking forward to his workshop this weekend! I really miss him. He’s the guy singing and dancing in the TM Net Broadband ad and the Pizza Hut one.
Will be going down to the children’s ward at the General Hospital in town tomorrow to do some visiting. This semester for one of my subjects, our assignment is to raise a reasonable amount of money for charity. My group and I are planning to help out the kids. I’m looking forward to it.
I've got an online photo album that you can visit now. Latest pictures include MyDance Festival and the show we did for Lo'real. Lo'real wasn't as great as MyDance was. They did the place up nicely though. It was at an Art Gallery somewhere near Keramat in town. The theme colour that night was pink and everything from the lights to the decor was pink. Was pretty cool.
