I Wanna See You Smile

And October's here...

Haven't had much to blog about, hence the lack of update. Life's been alright I guess. My semester's almost over and Finals start next Friday - all major assignments have been submitted and it's just been revision and SDL for classes...

Remember the Charity Drive in aid of PAWS that my college mates and I started doing a few months back? Well it finally wrapped up on Tuesday and we managed to raise a total of RM3000+. Well done Pawlors! I had such great fun working with everyone on the team and it was a wonderful experience. Good job, good job. I think we all deserve a pat on the back =)

It's the 1st of Ramadan today, the first day of Puasa (fasting). I must admit it was pretty trying but it usually is in the first few days before I slowly get the hang of things... But anyhow - so far so good. Syukur... selemat menunaikan ibadah puasa everyone

Oh yea... finally got my IC done last week. Took 15 minutes. Fortunately for me, my driver bumped into his old school mate who was working in one of the departments there. Managed to beat the queue that morning and get mine done asap. Lucky me =) yes yes... I live up to my rep of being ong baby haha

Do you believe in angels?

Well, I didn't quite have the brightest of mornings today, so Zai decided to lift my sprits up by pulling a hair band (with Shrek ears on it) out of her bag and placing it on my head. She in turn wore a round bright red clown nose on to make me smile. We sat at the entrance of our college block and received about 40 smiles today - which cheered me up a great deal.

There was one smile in particular that topped it all. As I was sitting (with my Shrek ears and clown friend), I looked up to the sky and saw a stranger looking down 2 floors above me. I think he was somewhat amused with my new ears and gave me the brightest smile and a peace sign. Haha... I know it might sound silly but that really brightened up my morning. I returned the smile and "peace" sign and looked back down to point him out to Zai, but the stranger was no longer there.

Funny how a sincere smile can brighten up your day. The irony of it all is... I just listened to a presentation on "Smiling" by my classmate Mathew George a few days ago... Aaahhh...

Degree students held some Taylor's Peace Day thing in college today. Zain, Zai and I were folding paper cranes for world peace. That was fun. That lifted my sprits too...

Thank You Angels for making me smile =)
