Had tonnes of work going on over the past two weeks and I'm so glad all major projects have been completed. Selangor was on public holiday on Monday so no work : ) and off day! yay! Ah I officially finish my Internship on the 23rd. That's 9 days away!
Konsert ChildAid Open Minds that was held on the 3rd of December @ the Stadium Malawati Shah Alam featuring artists such as Siti Nurhaliza, Ella, Vince, Anita Sarawak, Waheeda, Shazzy and Billy Zulkarnain was a success. The concert was part of P&G's Open Minds initiative to raise money for special children and children with special needs. I had such a great time. Seeing it all come together after weeks (months actually) of hard work really paid off. My job that night was artist coordinator/stage manager. Heyy not bad ey? Haha.
Managing all artists, giving them their queue's, arranging for press conferences that night was just a blast. Meeting them all and getting to know them was even better! I had such an amazing time. I'm so glad I got this opportunity to work with local celebrities as well as doing event management. It's been excellent.

On Friday, 9th December, Open Minds-Yayasan Nur wrapped up its fund raising year with a Royal Charity Gala Dinner with Her Majesty Yang Duli Teramat Mulia Raja Puan Muda of Perlis (the state regent of Perlis's wife) alongside the Minister of Women, Family & Community Development Yang Berbahagia Dato' Seri Shahrizat Jalil.
The gala dinner was held at the PJ Hilton and was of course another huge success for Open Minds Yayasan Nur as they managed to achieve their objective of raising RM2million for their beneficiaries this year. The dinner included entertainment as well as the mock cheque presentations. Was all good. Ooh, I was photographed by Tatler! Haha.. Okok I'm so full of myself. Heh...
Dancesteps Studio was asked to provide short dance shows in the spirit of Christmas over at the Avenue K shopping center in town. So on all of Saturday and Sunday it's just been performances once at 1:30pm and the next at 6pm on both days. Will be performing again next weekend so please come and watch! It's free! Haha

Meeting up with the girls always lights me up whenever I'm down. Just chilling, lauging over stupid things and sharing all our weird experiences (everything down to work), getting our minds of things. I love it. I think we all made so much noise at Bayou that people just seemed to be walking out more than walking in! Hehe Lily quit smoking, Kuzai's a freak magnet, Fara wanted McD's and I, well, it hurts to know how disgusting some people can be. Again, Thank God for all my Girls and Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream.
