that sequence's just stuck in my head...
I had just about the best time dancing last weekend during The Dance Space Studio Open Day last Saturday afternoon. From 2-6pm there were free dance classes, from hip hop to jazz, salsa to belly dancing, tap to the electronic "boogie" (funny name i know but it was one of the most interesting segments that day, it's the sort of dancing in clubs, u know, all them jerky robotic like movements, the waves etc) and tonnes more. The classes were pretty awesome... went beyond my expectations cuz you know lah, biasanya free classes, tak gitu menarik rite? I think the best would be the jazz funk, salsa and the street tap! After that session I fell in love. I can't wait till the end of Chinese New Year! That's when classes start! *yay* :D
It's been non-stop dancing since last Monday. This coming Thursday I'll be performing with Ann and co. at Cyna Bar along Heritage Row for a launch of some titanium watch (remember?? the one where i'll be painted from head to toe in silver and doing dance movements that resemble mercury?? ya that one!) I'm looking forward to that very much... ahem.. and the hehe extra cash that'll be sitting in my pocket after the show :D
College started last week. With only 3 subjects left for this sem, timetable's looking pretty empty - with a mid week holiday! There're no classes on Wednesday and for some days, classes are like for only 2 hours. Yay! :D oooh and Bali has become Even more Godforsaken. I can't wait till I'm out of the shit-hole.
Anyways, last week after class Shirena had a little makan-makan and cake cutting for Tanya, Durrah (whom are both leaving to further their studies and dance education in Melbourne, Australia) Sheela, Nesha and myself (December babies). Mmm we had yummy chocolate mousse Strudels cake. Damn it was good! Ooh and we had pizza :D nyum nyum. Got more presents too! hehehaha tahun ni I'm damn lucky lah. Macam macam presen ada :D I got this really cool body balm and top from shirena and flower hairclips from my ex-neighbour! hehe : )
