so busy. so busy.
its busy with life's daily routine. although i have college only 3 times a week now, i dance 6 times a week mondays through to saturdays. all the free time i have i use to rest, sleep, eat, watch tv. and this feb saw minimal free/rest time. concert preparation has started. this year will be a new year for me. now that I'm a teacher with my own class, i've had to do choreography for 2 of my classes. looking pretty good i must say. 3 months to go. still needs a lot of shaping.
will be doing the 'can-can' for adv jazz, 'swan lake' (pending to see if can actually larat or not)) for ballet and 'pulangkan' a lyrical number for modern. pictures of last year's concert (pointe, ballet and lyrical) will be appearing in an American dance magazine titled Dance Spirit. heh and I'm in the pics! wahaha small glam moment in a foreign magazine. happy happy ha ha ha :D
speaking of GLAM, last month's issue had a gorgeous cover page featuring tiara jacquelina and stephen-rahman hughes - stars of our local musical Puteri Gunung Ledang. For those who didn't get the chance the watch the musical it's such a shame. It was an awesome production. mesmerizing story-line, fantastic choreography (a blend of tarian tradisi melayu ala modern, tarian tradisi india and contemporary) and simple use of props. i feel (and i think the rest of the world that watched it too) that it's got what it takes to hit west-end and radio city music hall. its the biggest thing that ever hit our local theaters. (stephen rahmaaannnn ooOooooOOo *melts*) watched it twice (one night after the other) and daddy dearest watched it 3 times! (mind you, my parents are very difficult ppl to impress).

to ti - you were so graceful and amazing during the musical. i'm so proud of you! (she was the understudy for tiara jacquelina's roll ladies and gents! so ya, she's pretty damn good! ; ) *applause*) all the best in perth! don't forget family @ dancesteps and your velvet beat sisters! :P
to my former A.S.K. classmates nik, fairuz & fini - i hope to see you guys more on stage! you guys were fantastic! i could see you guys clearly! keep up the amazing work!

hmmm i think after my diploma i might go back to A.S.K. (Akademi Seni Kebangsaan a.k.a. the National Arts Academy) to further my studies in Tarian Tradisi Melayu (traditional malay dances) but with my current dance schedule i have to "see first"
Anyways, figure skating during the winter olympics @ Torino 2006 was another amazing thing. I can sit and watch it for hours and hours on ends. ice dancing has always fascinated me. sadly, its something i can never do. haha. i guess its the matter of throwing self into air to do spins AND falling ass/face/chest first on the ice... AND of course paying for the fees... my dad says i "can just dream about it" which i think i'll just do... haha :D
so many things i wanna do... did i ever tell you guys my ambition was to be an orthodontist. not a pr individual... ah... bet you never knew
anyways, this march i've got a few job offers. one to do an advertisement and the other a hugo boss road show promoting their latest perfume. will be dancing for both jobs, so look out for me during the road shows throughout march. haha - will be in places like KLCC, sg wang, tlw str bistro, the loft, souled out, passion and some other places i can't remember. AND with al my pay for the jobs, i plan to set aside some $$$ to shop online at Victoria's Secret. Oh My GOD...can go crazyyyyyy
ooh, speaking of shopping, gonna shop, surf and rock climb as much as i can this sunday when i leave for a short break to Bali. *yay* can't wait!
