you would think
WOW... bali was fantastic!

i love bali!

and... i miss bali

B A L I

it's a little something like phuket (i.e. the shops, hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafe's etc by the beach) if you've been there. it's like a little garden city, and definitely shopper's paradise! didn't get to surf or do much outdoor activities cuz from the time i arrived (sunday evening) all the way up to monday night, it was raining non-stop. yea you may be wondering WTF, where's the fun in that?? haha yea it actually turned out quite fun to shop around in the rain cuz that was what everyone else was doing. it hit a point where there was no point carrying an umbrella anymore cuz you're bound to get wet SOMEHOW. hehe so that was pretty fun!

ooOoo and of-course Bali's got heavenly SPA's too. A lot of time was spent getting massages, facial treatments, creme bath, body scrub and my favorite mandi bunga...

aahh.... I WANT more!

pft... should have stayed longer. 3 days definitely wasn't enough

i miss waking up to the very sight of this

Anyways, the Hugo Boss road-show started last weekend. So far its been pretty ok. Response has been alright. It's called the Hugo 'Pure Purple' road-show promoting the latest female fragrance by Hugo. The fragrance Hugo Pure Purple is meant to be the "ultimate" clubber's fragrance with "attitude". So i.e. you're meant to feel like a powerful lady of sorts if you use this fragrance lah. It's got a very nice floral, not too powerful, sweet, sensual smell. Very nice.

So far its been pretty fun! We get to be chauffeured around in an A class Mercedes each. 4 girls, 3 cars so it's a 2+1+1 sort of thing but it's fun! there are about 3-5 locations each day. So far we've been to places like sg wang, souled out, the loft, rum jungle and passion and so far the best response has been at souled out. you know, ppl enjoyed the performances, some joined in, things like that. we've got to wear this gaudy purple dress though (that only looks alright when there are 3 others around you wearing the same thing) hehe but yea, like i said it's been fun! i like the whole being chauffeured around thing ; ) haha

when we arrive (depending on the location) dancing starts and we move on to do the sampling exercise. some ppl are cool about it, they're like "yea ok sure, i'd like to try", some aren't to keen, but polite about it "no thanx, i've got perfume on! don't want it to mix", some get scared and just run off, and some give you the POP (piss-off-princess). but it's all part of the job. some ass asked if i was a woman or a man. bastard.

with our ride!

front of the car

it's fun traveling in these little things! haha it's cozy and comfy, it's got my favourite fly.fm on all the time and i just like the fact when we travel its always in a convoy! haha. ppl seem to really like the cars! they wanna take pictures of it, peek in. cute. esp at traffic lights haha!

i like how i can do this with this dress! hehe ; )

Anyways, next show will be this coming thursday throughout the whole weekend up till the 26th. so we'll be in the same places like before and as well as places like pyramid, klcc, lot 10, espanda, kdu, taylors (eeww), club 11:15 etc. look out for us! you'll get to win free samples and cool prizes!

I'm on my mid-sem break and it's now mid-sem exam week. i've got only 2 papers - islamic studies and econs. i'm dead for econs. i think...hope i can scrape through. by may college'll be over *yay* and i plan to get a part time job as an instructor at celebrity fitness/true fitness and maybe see if i can do more shows and earn more money. just went for a casting last week with lili and i hope that one works out. [insert 10 minutes here] and i just got a phone call by a lady who wants me to go for a casting in d'sara jaya tomorrow. hmm

had a very interesting conversation with my parents yesterday. after my dilpoma, i don't think i'll be continuing my degree in communications. my parents have decided that my dilpoma should be ample (on top of the work experience and the knowledge already gained) and that my degree would only deepen my knowledge (theoratically). my parents are willing to invest more on my dance education cuz they feel its worth while investing in it cuz it's something i like love to do and they went on about "you seem to be enjoying it most, so you must put 110% in it and just concentrate on one thing. you can't put 40% in your degree and 60% in your dance. just do what you love"

i was screaming the whole day yesterday and this morning jumping up and down, side to side, and round and round. but i'm still gonna think about it first. but looks like i'm gonna head out dancing. i should be done with my associates (something like a diploma in a teachers course for dancing) in 2 years from now. ann's offering me a job as a teacher in her new school coming up. yea. i think i'm gonna go for it!
