It's been well over a month since my last entry and some of you may be wondering whatwherewhymana-huh whatever. i have been so busy (like i always claim to be in almost every single one of my entries, but really I AM) that every single free time i get i become so freakin lazy to update. duh. i have so many things to say but somehow i'd rather sleep or do absolutely nothing.
Anyways, ladidada with the whining. let's get the stories rolling shall we?
My trip to Bali was sheer b l i s s. It was my second trip this year and since i love Bali so much, I'm gonna save up to make a third visit at the end of the year. Maybe head there for new year's.

just down the road from the hotel
Did most of my (this year's total) shopping in Bali. It's shopper's paradise. Some of the stuff there is just so much cheaper (i.e. Roxy, Rusty, Billabong, Quiksilver, Ripcurl) compared to the bullshit prices here. There's also this one fashion outlet called body&soul that resembles a lot of forever21. can go crazy mami.
oh ya, for the ladies, plenty of yummy eye candy all over the place. oooh yumm yumm. i like them v tall, built, awesomely tanned korean/japanese guys. wowowowowooowwww. hello hello :)
So yea, two weeks later, from all that tonne of fun I ended up in a rut at the KL convention centre for my graduation. yup yup. I'm officially a diploma holder in communications. not that big a deal. i didn't get to wear the mortar board thingy (hmph) cuz those were only for the degree students. fair enough. but the robes were heavily paded with godknowswhat just at the shoulders. i was aching after.

the view from where i was seated
it was such a loonngg and pretty dull occasion. had a long night before so i actually dozed off. 3/4 of the graduates present were from the hospitality & tourism courses. there were A LOT of them... Anyway. There was good food after so that was alright.
I think I'm emotional. It's that past 30 days-cycle that has come to [censored]
yea you don't need to read it
Aiman's gone back to the UK. had lots of fun spending time with him when he was back for the summer. He's one of my few good friends that makes Law so Sexy. hahah :D. We had a crazy dinner at the Hilton last week and spent an absurd amount of money on Jap but it was all worth while. Keep them letters coming in Aiman (we snail mail. it's so fun)
Remember that performance last weekend at KLCC that I was mentioning about? Where the Queen (yes, Our Queen) was meant to attend? Yea it went really well, except for the fact that her majesty dipertuanagongpermaisuri aiya soo long to mention could not attend the event. she was still (i'm assuming) in Jordan with the King. Oh well. I only wanted to do the performance because of her presence but nevermind. Better luck next time I guess. On the flipside it was really awesome to be able to perform there at the Centre Court of KLCC. Things look pretty different when one's performing. Thank you to my sweet friends (there 3 of you and my brother) that came to see me and the rest of Dancesteps Studio perform. Thanks for all the smiles and cheers ; )
After the performance on the first day we went up to the 41st floor of the twin towers for high tea at the Petroleum (... i think its the correct name) Club and wow the view was fantastic! But didn't last long cuz it rained heavily just a little after we arrived up there. There was good food there too : ). The whole show was put together by The National Cancer Society and DS was there as guests performers to help with the cause they were having - Celebrate Life -. One of the leading organizing heads was Anne Jensen, my first dance teacher back when I was in high school. She's a lovely lady, one of sources of inspiration and mummy to one of my good friends. She's really awesome.

Lily Hazlinda Hamid celebrated her 21st birthday a little before her actual birth date this year at The IVY @ the Asian Heritage Row. The theme for the night was blue. I got her this cute (haha I just called her and interrupted her nap. i just realised after blogging (what i'm doing right now duh) about hr bday present i forgot to ask her whether she liked it or not hehe) yes yes she says she likes it. ya, so i got her a cute blue giraffe-but-not-quite-teddy bear thing. very cute. some M&S choco biscuits (from ma) and some spa bath salts (from bali) and this really pretty-reminds-me-of-barbie butterfly compact mirror. very nice. very nice.
